Morris
Lane Creative Media produces bespoke digital television,
video and audio projects for those working in
the fields of heritage and historical interpretation,
education and communication, rural affairs and
the equestrian world, as well as the arts, music
and popular culture.
Since
1986, James Harrison, MLCM founder, worked in
radio as a BBC producer and presenter, presenting
live daytime shows and producing documentaries
and features, which have been broadcast on BBC
Radio 4, commercial radio and BBC Local Radio.
James
reported for BBC TV regional news programmes Points
West and Around the South in Eighty
Days, while more recently he worked on
the BBC website as a site producer and content
provider.
In
2005 he worked as a broadcast coordinator for
the BBC's hugely successful People's War digital
storytelling project and was one of the first
producers to research and process archive film
and video for subsequent play-out on the BBC website.
Wanting
to bring his ideas to an audience beyond the BBC
- and in response to a growing demand from the
private sector for his production experience and
values - James founded Morris Lane Creative Media
in January 2006.
