Melksham Oak Community School
MLCM’s involvement with Melksham Oak Community School goes back to 2006, when the old George Ward School in Melksham, Wilts., called us in to produce a DVD as part of their bid for a new school under the Government’s Building Schools for the Future programme.
Anecdotally, many have told us that it was our film that clinched it for the school, and after some councillors were reduced to tears when they were shown via the film the conditions in which staff and pupils had to work, they were resolute in their decision.
The £20m bid must got to George Ward School.
Today, the school is now called Melksham Oak Community School and occupies a new site at the other end of town.
MLCM is immensely proud of its involvement with the school – and greatly admires the achievement of all those involved.
The school faced some tough competition.
To date, we have made four films for the two schools – three for the old George Ward School and one for Melksham Oak – the film show here.
More and more schools are finding that video is the perfect way to demonstrate their educational remit – as well as their philosophy.
Strong images combined with real stories of achievement add up to a powerful message.
If you think your school could benefit from sharing its experience via online video , a DVD or both, do contact us to find out more.
In addition, you’ll probably be pleasantly surprised about the reasonable pricing structure we deploy for schools and colleges.
